Since 2024
The atelier
Isolyna began with a simple frustration: it had become difficult to buy clothes that were meant to last.
We started in 2024 with four pieces and one rule — make a small number of things, and make them properly. That rule still decides everything. If we cannot source a cloth we believe in, we do not make the garment.
The cloth
We work almost entirely in natural fibres: mulberry silk, virgin wool, grade-A cashmere and extra-long staple cotton. Our silk comes from a family mill we have visited twice. Our wool is woven in Italy by a house that has been doing it for four generations.
The runs
Each piece is produced in runs small enough that we know where every garment went. This means things sell out, and some do not return. We would rather that than hold warehouses of stock that ends up discounted into landfill.
The fit
Every garment is fitted on real bodies across the full size range, not graded up from a sample size. Where a cut is unforgiving, we say so on the product page. We would rather lose a sale than have a piece come back.
What we will not do
We do not run flash sales, we do not manufacture urgency, and we do not send you email we would not want to receive. If a piece is reduced, it is because it is leaving us for good.
